Weekend recap

Well, it is not an understament to say that this was a huge event in my life. Some people might not understand what becoming an American citizen, but to me is very important. Do not get me wrong, I am still proud of my mother land, and being Colombian. I love my culture, but the United States has provided me with many opportunities that I would not have had in my country of origin. So for that I have always wanted to become a citiezen and be able to vote. Also get an American passport to be able to travel a little easier intenationally be it for business or pleasure.

Here you can find the pictures of the ceremony :) that is how the whole weekend started. Then went to celebrate at BDMongolian one of my favorite chain restaurants. The whole weekend was pointing to motorcycle fun when we sat this guy on a Goldwing riding with his dog. Then if it was off to Chicago to visit family and attend the Chicago ChristianSportbikeAssociation picnic. During the morning we stopped at a sidewalk Art sale in Chicago and kind of walked around. Finally got to the Picnic and finished the night with a ride downtown. There are some pictures in the Moblog of the weekend :)

I also uploading pics today finally got the pics of Dave’s B-Day up. It was about a month ago, but still Good times. Now you better post about your weekend and trackback here :)

Is it Tuesday already

Wow, this week will fly by. Work is super busy as usual, but that is cool because it makes the day fly.

Yesterday a new season of American Idols started. I never watched the first season, but I did watch the second one. In any case, I love watching the begining of that show because of all the people making asses of themselves. You might say, what a heartless SOB making fun of people for their dreams. But I say, come on, don’t any of this people have family and friends that tell them how horrible they are before they make a fool of themselves on national television. It is probably due to the current attitude that you can be anything you want. Reality check, I cannot be anything I want, because we all have different qualities, I know I could not dunk over Michael Jordan. In any case, Scooter girl craked me up. She has to be on something and is not a natural high from running around in her scooter. I am glad she made it. But the Logtar award goes to Skat girl, that grand finale was priceless.

[Rant on]A little beef with some gunbound player, better yet, any online player that has a crappy computer. I do not think that you should be deprived of the enjoyment of any game if you have a slow computer, heck, I had my limitations at before. Now what really ticks me off, is that most games now a days have the option of turning down the graphics which makes the game run a lot smoother. So if you have a slow computer that can barely run the game, why do you have the graphics all the way up? that is just beyond my comprenhension. Killing the gameplay makes the game less fun, the pretty graphics will not make you win if the game crashes. [Rant off]

Now back to my microcosmos, I put some more pics from Jim’s baby up. Check the out here.

Finally got the pictures up

Well, last night was fun. Bogs is getting closer to finish un the design of the new skin for the site. Also played some more gunbound and actually got some free armor. Finally got to put the picutures I want it up, including some of my pet pics, recent snow pics, and my latest gaming system that bogs help me build.

It was colder than it has been a long time this morning, so much that my nostrils felt like they were getting ice inside of them. Thank God and technology for remote start. The drive to work was good, the sun was out and that is a super A++++ a la ebay. One thing I really like about Michigan is its openness, and how you can see sky for days. Sometimes the clouds sit just right and it is almost like I have mountains around me once again. I grew up in a valley right in between the Andes, and growing up with mountains all around you is awesome. You do not realize how used to you get to the mountains and how they give you a cozy feeling untile you move to the midwest and there is just no end to the sky. I will be in Colorado soon for business, and it is always cool to go there just for the mountains. I will be also be visiting my buddy Billy, he is in the Airforce Academy causing trouble :) hopeully he does not get himself in too much trouble so we can have some fun.
