I almost hate writing this post in some ways, not that I am against self promotion or anything like that. I just have resisted the tidal wave of “monetize” everything. For some reason my moral compass (if there is such a thing) has always steered me in the direction of, monetizing your content will diminish your credibility. Then life hits and my blogging goes from an almost daily outlet to a trickle that is starting to pick back up.
I was part of a podcast for a period of time, and even though it was a fun endeavor it just did not feel like something I was bringing a lot of value to in the end. I am going to attempt to do a lot of video in the next couple of days and that is probably the reason I am going to explain things a bit.
I’m going to switch gears on my online presence. I have been starting to use twitter (@logtar) more often and going to try to instagram a lot more this coming week. I also just started a facebook page because it seems like most of my audience moved to facebook. I still need this platform for keeping it all together and I will try my best to create content here and then funnel.
I am not sure if I am ready to assume a whole new internet persona yet. I have been “Logtar” for closing in on 20 years, I would say over 16 at least with the actual domain. That said, my snapchat is Dadlog and not logtar, and so is the facebook page. So we will see. I think I still can create some meaningful content as just me, but the new dimension that parenting brings cannot be denied.
