My theory is whatever works for you, without making you an asshole, is good. Look whether it is Tony Robbins or Miss Cleo a lot of people find honest to goodness support in places I don’t.

My brother and his wife are very religious, and it works for them (they are good people). But look at what other so-called nice religious people did during the inquisition and the crusades.

As for Dianetics/Scientology, I didn’t know a heck of a lot about them before. Unlike the Mormons I never sat down and talked to any. But when Tom tore Brooke Shields up and down, I started to think that maybe that bunch was breading their own intolerant bastiges.

I am glad you found something that changed your life for the better, and I certainly don’t see you becoming a hateful person for it’s influence. SO I say congrats man!
