Did you see either Challenger live, or replayed soon after it happened?
For me, I was at my college university center in the basement arcade playing a video game. I walked out into the common area where a bunch of people were gathered around a big TV watching the replays. It had only happened about a 1/2 hour previous.

The POPE! Now why didn’t I think of THAT??? GREAT answer! (i hope you get that bike soon!) Do you think the Pope ever actually goes IN to that library? Or do you suppose he only has “his people” go there? It would be so sad to become him only to find out that you really wanted to be his “assistant in charge of knowledge”!!!

The Vatican City is awesome. I remember getting a tour there, it didn’t include the library but I feel that would be a lil’ slice of heaven in there. Granted, I love to read.
