If your job makes you miserable sure it affects your happiness. But if you're indifferent I don't see that makes much different. I'm happy. I've been rich and miserable. I've been poor and happy. Now, I'm neither rich nor poor. I'm comfortable and blissfully happy. I pursued happiness much of my life. Not only did it elude me, I managed to make matters worse. Happiness found me while I was looking the other way. Other than being a wife (a darned good one at that) I don’t have a job and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve been rich and miserable. I’ve been poor and happy. Now, I’m neither rich nor poor. I’m comfortable and blissfully happy.

I pursued happiness much of my life. Not only did it elude me, I managed to make matters worse. Happiness found me while I was looking the other way.

I think I already mentioned this somewhere in your weblog. We should be happy with what we do, even if they rest of the world thinks we've gone insane. Life isn't about pleasing others or fitting into a scheme. It is about doing what we love, and doing it right... With passion.
