I can relate to that! I made a couple of road trips recently. Unfortunately, my CD player/radio was broken and not having music nearly drove me insane. Then, I decided to pass one rest area instead of stopping to pee, and just drive 20 miles to the next one. Bad idea. I got stuck in an hour long traffic jam. I even considered using the bushes at the side of the road, but luckily the traffic got moving again. Whew! What you should have done was take I-74 out of Indy and onto I-72. That would have brought you right to my house. And since I-72 goes thru Springfield and down I-55 to St. Louis, you probably would have broken even. Oh well... Welcome back to the Midwest, where people are actually friendly again.
