Happy (late) 4th to you too! Sorry I haven't been on blogdrive in such a long time, it's just that regular blogging was one of the things that kind of fell to the wayside as my life became extremely busy. I don't know if I'll be able to return to blogdrive on a regular basis, but you can always find me on Myspace or xanga.com/Myletter. Peace, man. :D

The Fourth of July is like D-Day to the Germans. Just a reminder that they lost.

It's a little known fact that the English actually have a superstitious fear of any number sequence that goes 0407 which is why they have removed the 4th of July from their calendars and replaced it with the 30th of February instead. This does make complex issues regarding their fiscal year, but they feel it's worth it to prevent the horrors of 0407 which they believe would cause all the scones in the world to disappear.

Yeah, I'm sure the Brits like being reminded of July 4th as much as the Japanese like being reminded of December 7th!

Very funny! I did answer yes just in case you are wondering. I also get that it isn't celebrated there like it is in America.

Hope you had a great time with your family this weekend and I hope to chat with you soon.
