All we can hope for is that we have enough impact on a person's life so that we may be remembered in our death. I believe that the reward for life is not that we may live eternally, but to know that we did all we could for the people we loved during our short stay in this world. There's no doubt that your grandfather would be honored to know that even complete strangers mourn for him with you.
