Darts, Party, Superbowl

Well, this weekend is going to be fun… tonight we will be playing darts and I am going to try and figure out the coefficient between drinking and playing darts. I think for me its two beers and I start hitting marks. Now the tricky part is to keep the buzz steady.

Last night I played even more of my new addiction gunbound, I am actually part of a guild now D0minion. Found this comic really funny. I guess it is better than being addicted to something else, but none the less an addition.

Tomorrow, besides getting a desperatly needed haircut I have my company’s employee appreciation party, like a late holiday party. It should be interesting seeying all the “spousals” of the people I work with, and I also look forward to seeying people drunk, which from what I have heard happens quite often. Getting the camera phone ready.

Sunday is the Superbowl, and I actually entered a cople of pools… i might be richer after the super bowl :) not sure where I am actually watching it, but maybe having some people over will be the way…. maybe I will ask Al if he has something going on, this guy has a projector that displays into a screen the size of the wall in his basemant… crazy, his “little” TV upstairs has more inches than my 4 TV’s at home combine… where is Al’s e-mail again :)

What’s for lunch

Have not decided what to eat, I know I have to go to the bank to get some cash, and to the mall to ge a battery for my wathc, but I am not sure about food. I guess mall food, will be allright. The thing is that the place I think is eatable there is always closed when I go. I think is called burboun chicken.

Finished reading the DaVinci Code. What an awesome book, I am going to have to go back and look for a cryptography book I read before, because if I remember correctly there was a chapter about leonardo there. That was the first book that I read in code breaking, which to me is fascinating. I guess I should write a little review of the DaVinci Code, but that will probably have to be this weekend.

Going to start playing some Raquetball next week, the company I work for has courts on its building, so I might as well take advantage of it. I should read a little about the game, because even thouhg I have played tennis, I think this is a totally different ball game. Wow that was a bad joke.

TV wise, cought up on our TiVo last night. American Idol was highly amusing, even though without Paula there it seems like Randy and Simon just go off… I was concidering though, that they have to sit and go thru a lot of people. I am sure they don’t show the average people, just the worse ones in the beginning. Also saw a hispanic girl from the San Diego audition that actually had a voice that can go all the way. That is kind of exciting. Also been watching the OC. Ok now to go eat some mall food.

Wow, one of my fav books made it to Oprah’s book club

buy at Amazon.com

One Hundred Years of Solitude is not only the book that won Gabriel Garcia Marquez world wide recognition, it also introduced Magical Realism, a new way of writting. This book is sometimes misunderstood by people when they read it due to its complexity and array of characters sharing names. This is a most read. It has not only been translated all mayor languages now it has made it to Oprah’s book club… here is what amazon said.

Oprah continues to share her love of the classics with her latest Book Club pick, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s epic novel of love and loss. Translated into more than two dozen languages, One Hundred Years of Solitude introduced Latin American literature and magical realism to a worldwide readership.

Let is Snow, let it snow, let it snow

Wow that is a lot of snow coming down. That is what I was thinking all day at work. Then I actually had to drive on it. I am surprised I don’t hate Michigan snow as much as I did Illionois’. The snow here is a little fluffier and less slushy. My complain is whet the snow removal people. In Chicago, two flakes and there was an army of plows unleashed. It was quite good. Here, I think the whole try city area has 4 plows. No joke.

Well, today I got my moblog working. Is kind of neat, now I can send pictures to an e-mail account and it almost keeps a photo diary. Some people use it as a blog, I am just going to use it as a compliment to this one.

Just got done playing some Age of Kings. Still love that game, and now I can go and play some gunbound. I am actually excited. I can finally join a guild. Took a picture of me driving in the snow. Click on my moblog to check it out.
