Even thought I did not have super high expectations about this movie I was excited to go see it. The subject matter of treasure hunting has always been one of my favorites. Thanks Indiana Jones. Also the Illuminati undertone is always interesting, that being a very interesting subject to me.

The movie was paced just about right. There was a couple of scenes that did drag more than they needed to but it picked up again quick enough to keep me interested. Nothing too impressive on the special effects, what we did see fit the movie. It was overall very entertaining, really cool for kids. I give it 3 stars. It is not something you have to watch in the theater unless you have the money burning your pocket.

  1. I like Nicolas Cage. I want to see this movie. I got hooked on Nic the first time I saw “Peggy Sue got Married…”. I also loved “Bringing out the Dead”. God I think Nicolas Cage is a good actor. Sometimes I wish I were like him. “Throbbing Thrill Hammer!!!!” — from “When Peggy Sue got married”…

  2. davincicode-ish, that’s what it is. only a bit “dragging” at times, like you said. heck, it’s making my expectations for the upcoming Da Vinci Code movie higher! it’d better be better. or else…

  3. Exactly, what Ring said. It’s like someone read the Da Vinci Code then came up with a movie like it.

  4. Only giving Nicolas Cage 3 *** stars. I am going to assume you were drunk when you saw the movie. I adore him. Nick Cage and Al Pacino ALWAYS get 5 stars in my book!
