Week 18 (TheaterThursday)

Do you remember your first time? (you can also do the TheaterThursday)

1. Do you remember the very first time you watched a movie on the big screen? Describe it.
One of my aunt’s took me to see a movie called the blue bird, I do not remember much about the movie or the experience. I think I was excited.

2. What was the last movie you saw on the big screen?
I cannot believe this is so hard to remember right now. It has been some time, specially since I used to watch 2 movies every week at the theater. At least 2 movies. Oh I remember, Bogs and I went to see I robot, it was my second time. I really enjoy that movie.

3. Did you ever like a movie so much that you paid to watch it more than once? If so, what movie?
I robot, which I just mentioned. Along with the Matrix, I watched it at least 4 times at the theater.

BONUS) How much does a movie ticket cost in your neck of the woods?
I get around, LOL, locally I go to the Midland theater and I get student rate at $7 in Chicago I got to the AMC 30 and I believe last time the student rate was $7.50.

Phishing

I have encountered this in the past, and I know to ignore it now, or my spam guard catches more of it. But I have seen it growing more and more. I do not want any of the people that I know to fall victims of this. I have seen some pretty good ones that look to the untrainned eye exactly like the actual website. I have seen Paypal, Ebay and yahoo mocked up in very convincing ways. So just please read this and take note. Concact me for any questions I would be glad to help. Read more…

Register to vote!

As all of you should know by now I became a citizen. One of the biggest reasons was to be able to vote. I really think you should do the same. Do not complain about who is in office, do something about it by registering to vote. We are in the last days of being able to register.

Weekend recap

Well, it is not an understament to say that this was a huge event in my life. Some people might not understand what becoming an American citizen, but to me is very important. Do not get me wrong, I am still proud of my mother land, and being Colombian. I love my culture, but the United States has provided me with many opportunities that I would not have had in my country of origin. So for that I have always wanted to become a citiezen and be able to vote. Also get an American passport to be able to travel a little easier intenationally be it for business or pleasure.

Here you can find the pictures of the ceremony :) that is how the whole weekend started. Then went to celebrate at BDMongolian one of my favorite chain restaurants. The whole weekend was pointing to motorcycle fun when we sat this guy on a Goldwing riding with his dog. Then if it was off to Chicago to visit family and attend the Chicago ChristianSportbikeAssociation picnic. During the morning we stopped at a sidewalk Art sale in Chicago and kind of walked around. Finally got to the Picnic and finished the night with a ride downtown. There are some pictures in the Moblog of the weekend :)

I also uploading pics today finally got the pics of Dave’s B-Day up. It was about a month ago, but still Good times. Now you better post about your weekend and trackback here :)
