Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (***)

Starring John Cho, Kal Penn, Neil Patrick Harris, Sandy Jobin-Bevans, Fred Willard, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Paula GarcÚs, and Christopher Meloni. In the great cinematic tradition of “Road Trip” and “Dude, Where’s My Car?” comes Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, which follows two likeable underdogs who set out on a Friday night quest to satisfy their craving for White Castle hamburgers and end up on an epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild road trip as un-PC as it gets. (New Line Cinema)

Now I will not be able to say it but like 10 more times I promise, but lower expectations makes such a difference. I went to this movie not expecting too much beyond laughing at the same gags as in the trailer that I barely remembered. But you know what the movie was actually good. Not a classic by any means but good. There is a lot of un-PC comedy so it is not for the easily offended but if you can take the satirical look at race you will have a good time.
