Ok I admit it, I am a SCI-FI fan… but this movie is a masterpiece nonetheless. I was so impressed by Will Smith’s acting hability, sure he still has the quirky way to make jokes during a movie but hey that is his trademark. The movie visuals are stunning and the setting being in Chicago also makes me like it even more.
The movie has an excellent pace, it is not an action movie by any means but the action sequences are well placed and visually superior to things we have seen as of lately. Crappy visual effects are something that truely bother me in today’s movies… we have the technology ladies and gentleman lets use it.
I, Robot almost makes me feel guilty by not reading the book first. I am not sure how close it is to the actual book but the story is full of messages that should make people think about where our society is going in many levels. I am also ready the age of spiritual machines right now, so that added a little to the movie for sure. I see go and see it and you will not be dissapointed.
