“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
–Mark Twain
Here is something that I have used a lot lately in converstaion… “We will only regret those things that we did not do”… in reality I think it has lots to do with a state of mind and be changed to, “We should only regret the things that we did not do.”
I will be in vacation all next week, on a cabbin in the middle of nowhere… I will post pictures and blog as possible… the vacation is from work and not blogging, I love doing this… in any case back to the regular scheduled quote post.
Does this quote inspire you? Are you a regretful person? (if you are e-mail me… I will knock some sense into you ;)) do you believe in regret? Do you experience it?

I’ve done a ton of things that most people would consider regrettable. But I don’t regret them. They make me the person that I am today. Why regret? You can’t change what happened. You can only strive to make better decisions next time.

I’m in complete agreement on that. There’s so much I wish I would have done. Of course there’s just as much I wish I hadn’t done.
~sigh~

LOL
It’s more of not doing the things that you desire to do thru, laziness or lack of opportunity or not asserting yourself [my problem all my life].
It is time to take the bull by the horns, get off my butt and go get what I want!
It’s not gonna land on my plate now, is it?
