If you are always reacting to something that implies to me that you are waiting for something to happen TO you instead of going out and making something happen for yourself. It ties in nicely to something that a great therapist once taught me. She taught me to respond to something rather than to react - because reaction means you have to deal with something that has already happened; responding means you have some input.

interesting quote. It's better to live a life of action instead of reaction. Go on your gut instincts and things will work out.
happy tuesday :)

Hi Logtar!! I couldn't seem to get your tagboard to work, so I thought I'd go ahead and post here.
Reaction vs. Action, huh? I think I'm pretty much in the middle of that ratrace. I'm very action oriented on some things, which doesn't leave much time to be that way for other things, so I end up reactionary to those.

If that makes any sense at all. :)

If you are constantly in 'reaction' mode throughout your life, you feel stressed, burdened...ect. You constantly feel as if you could never relax because something else is coming down the pike.
In a life of action, you are truly living. You are moving, acting, planning... you feel accomplished, caught up, and ready. A life of action is what God wants for us anyway. "Cast all of your cares upon me"...we are not meant to be worriers. Why worry anyhow? Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday..... *smile*
