::Things that go bump in the night::

Onesome: Things that go- What’s the strangest contraption you’ve ever had to use to get from point A to point B?

a Chiva, and you ask what is a Chiva, and I answer… is simply a bus, but then why not call it a bus… because it is just not a bus. How can I explain a Chiva. Well there is the let me show you a picture, or two, or three… but still it does not do it justice. What a Chiva really is, it a method of transportation where in Colombia and other South American countries, they take buses and paint them in a very colourful way. The fun rides are the ones during festivals or some cities have this services and one of this colorful buses is equipped with a nice stereo and they give you a tour of the city ala booze bus style.

Twosome: Bump- Have you ever hurt yourself doing something you weren’t supposed to be doing?

Oh yes, I have a good story for this one. When I was in high school we used to have basketball courts that had rims that were on wheels, but this are not jus little contraptions, they were metal hoops with a whole metal structure around then and being weighted down by concrete. Well, we had the great idea of pushing this thing and then jumping on it as it got momentum. Well, it ended up hapeneing that during this little game I misstepped and the thing ran over my right foot… I still have a scar from it.

Threesome: In the night- Do you believe in things that go bump in the night or anything supernatural?

Well, I do believe that there are things out there… but I have not seen anything with my own eyes.

Detroit Wins, they are the Champions 100-87

I am very happy to say that the Detroit Pistons are the new NBA Champions after beating the Lakers 100-87. I am from Chicago but the bulls have been sucking and not to jump in the bandwagon or anythings, since I really have not followed basketball since Jordan left the bulls, but dam I am happy that the Pistons beat the lakers.

Congratulations Detroit Pistons.

Week 23

Yep! That’s right! It’s Wednesday Mind Hump Day! *nods head enthusiastically to the tune of the Humpty Dance”

Today is National Mortician’s Month. Wheeeee! No, wait … Ewwww! So, because we’re insane, instead of a mortician related warm up we’re going to instead honor National Drive Safe Month. Yaaay! Using the letters L-I-C-E-N-S-E reveal some unusual things about your driving habits or your vehicle or what you do in your vehicle besides drive or … well, you get the point. On to the hump >>>>>

Lick… I bet that got you going didn’t it.
Insane superstition about sitbelts… I could be going to the other side of the parking lot and I buckle up.
Center lane is my fav in the highway. Mor escape routes I guess.
Enthusiatic about having a good tune while driving. Music and driving mix very well.
Not a lot of non motorcycle people know that we call cars “cages” and people driving cars “cagers”
Since I started riding motorcycles again, I concider myself a better car driver.
Endless suply of waves. I wave at people even when they cut me off, learned that from Tuesdays with Morrie

This week a little getting to know you craziness.

01. You are a ride at a theme park. What are you and why?
Def a roller coaster, the fastest, tallest with the most loops and of course it will take you upside down.

02. You are an inanimate object and you have the same capabilities as a mood ring. What are you and how do you operate? Example: Mood Pen: The ink changes color depending on what the mood is.
at first I read inanimate as intimate… LMAO… so I guess I cannot be mood panties. ROFL.

03. You own the most unusual store in the world where you sell a product that’s never been sold before – it could be anything from instant serenity to personality enhancers to holy drinking water that absolves your sins (that’s no joke folks, it really exists). What is the name of your store, what do you sell and do you have a selling catch phrase?
Easy, I have been saying this for years. The store will be called Get a Clue, and I will sell clues. Walk in and get a clue! will be my catch phrase.

04. Describe an item of clothing that has definitely seen better days but that you refuse to dispose of and still wear. Why won’t you toss it?
Seniour shirt, has more holes on it that I care to count. It has some stamping on it and that is all that is somewhat keeping it together… I will take a picture when I get home. I just refuse to get rid of it, I guess it just reminds me of a good time in my life.

05. Going on the belief that “It’s the little things that count.” what is some little thing that might seem insignificant to others that recently made you smile or gave you a really happy feeling?
I try to live my life that way, where the littlelest things make me slime. Doing this memes makes me smile, taking inanimate as intimate craked me up.

Okie dokie – that’s this week’s hump. Do it baby! Do the humpty hump!

Do the Humpty Hump

Puzzles

Ok, so yesterday I find a very interesting brain teaser which will turn into your homework after you read this post. And I really mean after because if you start now you could spend a conciderable amount of time yelling my name along with unappropriate words if you are right brained like I am. I sat there and overanalized the crap out of it when the key to it is to just read the instructions.

In any case, after that yesterday and sharing it with the people at the motorcycle board that I frequent, I had a converstion with Sabra this morning. And we started talking about crossword puzzles. I love all puzzles, I have tetris on my phone and every time I have a down moment or sit in a waiting room I play it. I also love word search and sliding block puzzles since I was a little kid. I can play any puzzle for hours, except crossword puzzles. I can come up tons of excuses… one that I am not patien enough to sit there and finish then, or I can always use the excuse that English is not my first language, but in Spanish I also suck a crosswords for sure. So is it some kind of mental block. I guess I need to add that to the list of to dos (to finish a full crossword puzzle.)

So, have you guys ever finished a newspaper crossword puzzle, love them, hate them? what is your fav kind of puzzle… or do you just dislike them all together.

Now go back and do that brain teaser, let us know how many rolls it took you. I admit it… it frustrated the crap out of me for sure… but you might get it in the first try.
