::A geek in the family::

A geek– Hey, who handles tech support at your place? You? …the six year old? …or someone from outside? …and how about in your web space? No, we’re not looking for techs; we’re just curious .

ould be me, I am the computer geek of not only my family but also friends. Well at least the friends that are not already in the computer field.

in the– computer? Just a curiosity for the designer types: what Operating System are you running? …and which browser? Since sites can show up differently in different browsers it’s more than a casual question.

Well, I am all over the place with browsers, I use Mozilla and IE 5 and 6. Depending on what computer I am at. OS Win2k, but mostly not by choice.

Family– Do any family members read your place? Do they care? Do they have a clue? …and how about your ‘off line’ friends? …or do you supply a little bit of separation there?

I know a lot of my friends read me, my family overseas does also. My inmediate family not so muhc, if they do, they don’t comment ;)

  1. i am the tech man in the house running winXP. i am trying to obtain slax to run also. browser of choice is mozilla firefox.

  2. I’m definitely the geek here, I don’t like to brag about it because I certainly don’t know many things, but I sure know my way around. When I worked with my husband for the flower company, the big boss was always relying on me for every single thing related to computers, even if I wasn’t the programmer.

  3. My sister reads my blog. My brother learned not too..but that’s a long story. Most of my friends do too, and in this house…my nephew is the computer geek…I’m just a lowly nerd :( I run ME with IE 6.0

  4. Hello! Just wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy Bloggers Love-In Day. :-)
